Advertising

Complete walkthrough of the ad pages: list, create/edit, safe page, rules, pre-launch Rule Preview, and landing page list — every field and button explained.

Advertising is the core of the console. It spans 6 pages: Ad List, Create/Edit Ad, Safe Page, Rules, Pre-launch Rule Preview, and Landing Page List. We’ll go through them in menu order.

Ad List

You land here after signing in. Each row is one ad configuration.

Top buttons

  • Create: go to the create-ad page.
  • Refresh: reload the list.
  • A green “Ops tracking enabled” tag may appear at the top left — it means links copied from here automatically carry tracking parameters.

Columns

ColumnMeaning
OperationThe icon buttons on each row (see below)
PlatformThe ad platform this ad targets (Meta, Google, TikTok, …); used for stats and rules
Ad CodeThe ad’s unique code, carried automatically as a tracking parameter; can’t be changed after creation
Current TypeCurrent serving mode: Landing Page (normal) or Safe Page (show safe page first). Click to switch quickly
Deploy LinkThe public short link for this ad. Click it to preview; the button on the right copies the full tracking link
TrafficOutbound clicks — visitors sent out to the landing/external page
VehiclesInbound clicks — visits coming into the ad link
CR(%)Conversion rate, the ratio of traffic to conversions

Operation buttons

Always visible:

  1. Rules: go to this ad’s rule configuration.
  2. Edit: modify basic settings.
  3. Safe (SF): set the safe page.
  4. Landing (LP): open this ad’s landing page list.

More (…):

  1. Detail: opens a right-side drawer with the full configuration (below).
  2. Rule Preview: go to the pre-launch self-test page.
  3. Copy: dialog to enter a new ad code (uniqueness checked); see Ad Copy below.
  4. Delete: remove the ad.

Detail drawer

  • ID: internal number.
  • Landing page type: shows “Template” or “url”; click the ⇄ button to switch quickly.
  • Redirect URL: in url mode, edit the landing redirect address right here.
  • Target region / Target devices / Language UI: the ad’s delivery restrictions.
  • Tracking pixel: the pixel configuration.
  • Landing / Safe page: the pages currently in effect.

Ad Copy

From the ad list, open … → Copy, then enter a new ad code in the dialog (uniqueness checked; immutable after create). This copies config and filter rules; landing/safe pages are reused by reference (visit logs and stats are not copied); landing bindings get a new stream_id. Handy for scaling similar campaigns — confirm path and rules after copying before going live.

Create / Edit Ad

Both pages share the same fields; some are locked when editing.

Basic settings

  • Domain: the delivery domain for this ad (pick from the dropdown of enabled domains).
  • Path URI: the path after the domain (the ad001 in example.com/ad001). “Random” generates one, or type your own.
    • Use meaningful English words that match the ad copy (e.g. gift for a “new user gift” campaign);
    • Avoid meaningless random strings like zx7k2m — users read them as suspicious links;
    • Use different paths per channel (fb, gg) for later analysis;
    • 3–8 characters works best.
  • Ad Code: the ad’s unique code, used as a tracking parameter (sub2). You enter it yourself; it can’t be changed after creation. Rules: 2–32 characters, digits 2-9 and letters A-Z (no 0/O/1/I), and can’t be all digits. The backend does not auto-generate it.

Delivery & pages

  • Platform: the target platform (required). Used only for stats and rule matching — it doesn’t restrict real traffic.
  • Status: the current serving mode:
    • Landing Page: visitors are judged by rules and sent to the landing page (normal mode);
    • Safe Page: every visitor sees the safe page (pause or transition mode).
  • Landing page — the type:
    • url: enter the external redirect address directly;
    • template: use an uploaded page pack; then configure the exact template and weight in the Landing Page List.
  • Safe page — the type:
    • Redirect URL: blocked visitors jump to the given URL;
    • template: blocked visitors see an uploaded safe page pack.
    • If neither is set, the configuration is incomplete; add a complete brand, policy, or maintenance fallback page.

Delivery limits (only apply when status is Landing Page)

  • Target region: Worldwide, or specific countries.
  • Target devices: empty = all devices; otherwise only selected types (Desktop/Mobile/Tablet).
  • Language UI: Any, or a specific browser language. Only the browser’s first-priority language is checked.

Tracking pixel

  • Optional pixel address (e.g. /?f=123456789) for statistics.

After creation

A dialog suggests configuring rules right away. Click “Set rules now” — without rules, every visitor sees the landing page and no junk traffic is filtered. You can also enter Rules later from the Ad List.

Safe Page

A dedicated page that does one thing: configure the ad’s safe page.

  • Safe page type: one of two.
    • url (redirect): fill in the Redirect URL below — blocked visitors jump there;
    • template: pick an uploaded safe page pack.
  • If neither is filled, the configuration is incomplete; add a complete brand, policy, or maintenance fallback page.
  • Saves take effect immediately.

Rules

Open from a row’s Rules button. There’s a quick-config area at the top and a rule list; each rule can be edited individually, and you must click Save Config at the top right for changes to take effect.

There are 11 rule types: Referer Filtering, IP Control, Bot Detection, Ad Verification, Network Detection, Geo Restriction, Device Detection, Language Filtering, ASN Control, UTM Detection, and Platform Detection. Ad Verification is independent of the crawler dimension. The fields, logic, and config advice for each are in Ad rules basics.

Key reminders:

  • Configure only what you need; unconfigured rules don’t apply — no need to fill everything;
  • If a value is in both lists, the blocklist wins (blocked);
  • Changes apply only after Save Config — before that they’re a local draft;
  • Overly strict rules block real visitors; start loose and tighten gradually.

Rule Preview / Visitor Profile Validation

Use a visitor profile to preview how current rules route the request to a landing or fallback page. It does not simulate or identify platform reviewers and does not validate advertising approval.

Page structure

  • Ad summary: the current ad and its landing mode.
  • Visitor profile: the simulated visitor’s traits (IP, country, language, device, referrer, network, etc.).
  • Profile samples: common automated, data-center, and monitoring feature samples:
    • Common Meta automation and monitoring feature samples;
    • Common TikTok automation and monitoring feature samples;
    • Common Google automation and monitoring feature samples;
    • Custom profile.
  • Import from block log: pull recent high-frequency blocked visitor traits into the current profile and re-run. Pick a sample and click “Import selected”.
  • Run Rule Preview: start the test.

Reading the result

  • Allowed by rules: this visitor group passes and enters the landing page;
  • Blocked by rules: this group is blocked to the safe page;
  • Block code / Block reason: on a block, shows the matched rule and reason (e.g. “Country · Blocklist · US”) so you know which rule did it;
  • Visitor snapshot: the full simulated visitor traits (IP, referrer, UA, country, language, ASN, platform params, device, UTM, …), matching how the live system decides.

Notes

  • Rule Preview uses the same decision core as production, but only reports the outcome for the supplied profile. It does not represent or guarantee any advertising-platform review result;
  • If the ad has no rules, every visitor passes — “Allowed” there doesn’t mean filtering works;
  • If the ad status is Safe Page (landing not enabled), visitors go straight to the safe page without rule evaluation;
  • Country, ASN, and network flags are derived from the IP database and overwrite manual entries for those fields.

Landing Page List

Opened via the LP button of an ad. This page manages the ad’s landing pages in template mode (applies when status is Landing Page and type is Template).

  • Template mode: templates and weights configured here take effect automatically;
  • URL mode: if the ad is url type, go to the ad edit page to change the redirect address.

Columns: switch (enable/disable), weight (%), title, ad link, traffic, vehicles, CR(%), actions (edit/delete).

Add landing page: click “Add”, choose a landing page template, enter the ad link, set weight and status.

Weight allocation: multiple landing pages split traffic by weight (e.g. 50/50 or 70/30); total weight of 100 is recommended. Great for rotating pages or splitting by creative.
